The top is inlaid with thickened sintered stone, which resists stains and scratches in a way no oiled timber top will. If you have ever specified a beautiful wooden dining table for a client with young children, you already know why that matters. Underneath, the base is drawn from old Chinese timber-frame architecture: mortise-and-tenon, assembled rather than bolted. Worth looking at the view straight down (image 03) because that is where the structure is legible. Two diameters, 110cm and 125cm. Made to order by 12H. Allow 12 to 20 weeks.
